Cyta internet

Postby Stu&Gill » 18 Dec 2016 20:03

Decided to go for a land line base internet with Cyta
I signed all the paperwork on Wednesday last week at the Cyta shop in the Mall
Any ideas as to when I can expect an engineers inspection..... based on members personal experience....I fully understand the need to do so as although the wiring is in place it had never been used a previous tenants used a wireless internet provider

Am I going to see them before Xmas or is it going to be 4/5 weeks bearing in mind the Xmas break

Thanks Stuart

Hi Stuart,

In the inside of the door of the cyta box outside, there is a sticker with a number on, starting 6Txxxx - otherwise there is a plastic plaque on the outside in Greek. This identifies the circuit number - if you send me either of these I am going to cyta tomorrow pm and will see Flora who will fast-track it for you.

We decided on Cyta for internet last May (in Tala but outside the village) and they came within a couple of days of signing the paperwork. Took another day to sort some problems out but less than a week before online.

HI Stuart,

For some reason I cannot get the account to enable on the system - it was fine when first set-up. If I cannot get it running in the next few hours, I will call you tomorrow and arrange for a new box - it seems to be a problem with the MAC address of the box.

Regards
