Anyone know who the mayor is that got voted in?

Is it the one that stood this last term again or someone new, If new what to people think of the new one?

Results from Sunday’s local elections

NICOSIA – Constantinos Yiorkadjis was re-elected with 68.86% of the vote ahead of rival Panayiotis Stavrinides on 31.14%

LIMASSOL – Nicos Nicolaides is elected with 48.31% of the vote only marginally ahead of Andreas Christou on 48.27%. Charis Aristidou came third with 3.42% of the vote

STROVOLOS – Andreas Papacharalambous is elected with 28.3% of the vote ahead of Stella Mishaouli on 27.4%, Lazaros Savvides on 22.62% and Christos Tsingis on 21.7%

LAKATAMIA – Fotoula Hadjipapa is elected with 44.3% of the vote followed by Argyris Papanastasiou on 20%, Andreas Andreou Glafkou on 19.8% and Yiannis Pierides on 16%

LARNACA – Andreas Vyras is elected with 35.47% of the vote ahead of Petros Christodoulou on 25.95% Alexis Michaelides on 24.27%, Andreas Petrou on 8.26%, Louis Demetriou on 4.67% and Georgios Constantinou on 1.37%

FAMAGUSTA – Alexis Galanos is re-elected with 41.73% of the vote followed by Symeon Ioannou on 41.54%, Andreas Lordos on 13.71%, and Georgios Stavri on 3.02%.

ARADIPPOU – Evaggelos Evaggelides is re-elected with 53.18%of the vote ahead of Demetris Xiouroupas Chryssostomou on 46.82%

PAPHOS – Fedon Fedonos is re-elected with 55.66% of the vote followed by Akis Chryssomilos on 44.34%

GEROSKIPOU – Michalis Pavlides is re-elected with 51.8% of the vote followed by Giannakis Mallourides on 28.1% and Andreas Shikkis on 20.11%

PEYIA – Marinos Lambrou is elected with 44.24% of the vote ahead of Pantelis Harpas on 37.39% and Neophytos Akoursiotis on 17.88%

POLIS CHRYSOCHOUS – Giotis Papachristofi is elected with 47.48% of the vote ahead of Stavros Iacovides on 28.99% and incumbent mayor Aggelos Odysseos on 23.53%

PARALIMNI – Theodoros Pyrillis is re-elected with 61.95% ahead of rival Giorgos Nikolettos on 38.05%

AYIA NAPA – Yiannis Karousos is re-elected with 64.89% and Vassos Vasiliou received 35.11%

I have meet Marinos Lambrou the new Peyia mayor, who I am sure will make a huge difference to the village, for the better I would add. Also he speaks very good English, which will be very helpful for us lazy Britis who can't speak Greek including me.
